How to cancel Microsoft 365
You can cancel Microsoft 365 online, in your account, any time before the next charge. Refund eligibility is shown during cancellation and depends on local terms.

Steps to cancel Microsoft 365
- Open Services & subscriptions
- Select Manage
- Choose Cancel subscription

What should I check before I cancel Microsoft 365?
- Microsoft 365 has a cheaper plan, if the price is the problem.
- Paying yearly costs less than paying monthly, if you are staying.
- OneDrive files stay but become read-only over the free 5 GB, and the account can be frozen after three months over quota; Office apps switch to view-only.
